Welcome! Get your Oregon Food Handlers Card online! State of Oregon regulations require everyone involved in public food handling and preparation to acquire a certified license within 30 days of beginning work. Permits issued from this website are valid for three years. Food handler cards issued in other states are not valid in Oregon. Lane County is the official issuer for this site. |
To take your certification test online and acquire a valid food handlers card for your employer, do each of the 6 steps in the order listed.
Step 1 - Review the Food Handler's manual (Click here) Step 2 - Review the manual on choking (Click here) Step 3 - Register online (Click Here) Step 4 - Take the Test (Click Here) Step 5 - Pay the $10 non-refundable license fee (Click Here) Step 6 - Print your Certificate after paying fee (Click Here) *
Give one copy of your Food Handler's Certificate to your employer. They are required to have a copy on-file at all times. Feel free to come back to this site and print additional Certificates as required.
